The Lady Cats, who will make their first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament, climbed from the eighth spot into the fifth spot after defeating California University (PA) for the championship at last weekend's PSAC Tournament.

Shippensburg defeated Pitt-Johnstown in both match-ups this season. The Lady Raiders dealt Pitt-Johnstown a 3-sets-to-1 loss in Shippensburg on October 25, before sweeping the season series with a 3-1 victory in the Sports Center on November 16.
