Erminio Garners PSAC Player of the Week Honors for the Second Time

For the second time this season, Pitt-Johnstown outside hitter Marissa Erminio was named the PSAC Eastern Division Volleyball Player of the week after leading the Lady Cats to a pair of conference wins.  Clarion University's Laura Subject garnered Western Division Player of the week honors... Erminio helped the Lady Cats earn a pair of PSAC wins last week by averaging 4.6 kills per set average. In a 3-1 win over East Stroudsburg Erminio, recorded a game-high 17 kills and sprawled for eight digs. The freshman also notched a double-double in a 3-0 victory against Kutztown with 15 kills and 17 digs. Erminio currently ranks fourth in the PSAC in kills per set at 3.56 and third in total kills with 356.
 
Clarion's Laura Subject led a potent Clarion offense in a 3-2 come-from-behind win over California that moved Clarion into a tie for first place in the PSAC West. She recorded the second most set assists in her career in the win over the Vulcans with 68 while adding 15 digs. Subject also recorded 53 set assists and 14 digs in a 3-1 win over Seton Hill and 44 set assists and 12 digs in a 3-1 victory against Slippery Rock. She added a pair of blocks versus Seton Hill and two aces against California. Her 12.69 set assists per set last week were over an assist per set higher than her season average.
