After a slow start that saw him score just three points in Wednesday's loss at Gannon University, Shaheen bounced back to score 15 points in a narrow loss to Mercyhurst in the Sports Center on Saturday. Shaheen also pulled down three rebounds, had one assist and and hit 4-of-5 from the free-throw sline against the Lakers.
Shaheen was also tabbed the PSAC Western Division Freshman of the Week on November 11 and January 6.
