Pitt-Johnstown senior center Ian Vescovi was named the PSAC Western Division Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in a pair of games at the IUP classic over the weekend... (Full PSAC Release)

Vescovi led the Mountain Cats to a 65-56 victory over the College of Saint Rose (NY) to open the IUP Classic on Saturday.  He finished with 13 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.  In Sunday's five-point overtime setback against The University of the Sciences, Vescovi tallied a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.

He finished the week averaging 14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 blocks per outing.
