Mike Palkovitz were honorable mention selections.
Warner, a Daktronics First-Team and a NCBWA Second-Team All-American a year ago, has already garnered 2014 Second-Team NCBWA Preseason All-America honors.Â
Warner, also a two-time first-Team All-WVIAC choice, led the Mountain Cats in batting average (.420), hits (74) runs (46), RBI (40), and total bases (99). Nationally, Warner ranks third in NCAA Division II in toughest to strike out (33.8), seventh in batting average (.426), 44th in hits (74), and 67th in runs per game (1.02).
Morrow, a 2013 NCBWA All-Region choice, hit .350 with eight double, four homeruns, and 31 RBI. He also scored 35 runs.
Younker and Palkovitz were both tabbed honorable mention preseason All-Region.
Younker posted a team-best 8-4 record and a 4.16 E.R.A. in 71.1 innings of work as a junior in 2013. He also struck out 41 and allowed just 10 walks.
Palkovitz wrapped up his sophomore season with a .404 batting average. He had nine doubles, two triples, three homers, and 37 RBI. His 69 hits, 171 at-bats, and 38 runs were all second on the team behind Warner.
