(Full PSAC Release) Mercyhurst was given all 12 first-place votes and enters the 2014 season having advanced to the NCAA Division II Quarterfinals for the second consecutive year. Mercyhurst missed the semifinals by virtue of penalty kicks to eventual national champion Southern New Hampshire. The Lakers were slated atop the preseason poll in 2013 and haven't been slotted lower than third since joining the PSAC in 2008. Mercyhurst has played in the NCAA playoffs for five straight seasons, while winning the conference title in 2012 and finishing second in 2013. PSAC Offensive Player of the Year
Fernando Martinez, who tallied 14 goals and 16 assists last year, will lead a Mercyhurst team that finished 2013 with a 17-5-1 record.
Millersville jumped up two spots from fourth in 2013 to second on the preseason poll. The Marauders advanced to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional title game in 2013, while making the program's fourth appearance in the NCAA Tournament. No. 3 West Chester finished 2013 with its first 13-win season since 2006. The Golden Rams' four losses last season were the fewest by a West Chester men's soccer team since 1973. West Chester returns PSAC Defensive Athlete of the Year

Defending PSAC Champion Slippery Rock finished fourth in the voting, marking the highest preseason ranking for The Rock since being tied for third with East Stroudsburg in 2010. The Rock enters 2014 under the new direction of former Akron assistant women's soccer coach Andy Hoggarth. Slippery Rock has won seven PSAC titles in program history and has played in the conference championship game for two straight years.
Gannon garners the No. 5 spot, while Shippensburg earned the No. 6 position. Seton Hill sits at No. 7 after being slated to finish 11th on the 2013 preseason poll and finishing the season sixth in the conference standings. California is ranked eighth followed by No. 9 Bloomsburg. Rounding out the poll is No. 10 Lock Haven, No. 11 East Stroudsburg, and
