(Full PSAC Release)On Friday. Wierman, a native of Hanover, Pa. and a graduate of Delone Catholic High School, collected eight kills, seven digs, and a pair of set assists in a 3-sets-to-0 sweep over conference foe Millersville. Wierman followed that effort up with a 13-kill, 10-dig, 2 service ace performance in a sweep over Shippensburg on Saturday.

Kendall Mahony garnered PSAC East Player of the Week on two occasions prior to Wierman's selection this week.
Edinboro's Challen Litwiler was named the PSAC West Player of the Week. Litwiler helped Edinboro improve to 16-2 with three wins, including a 3-1 win over Clarion, the preseason favorite in the PSAC West. Litwiler followed that up by leading the Fighting Scots to a 3-1 win over IUP. She totaled 47 kills in the three matches (20 vs. Clarion) along with 49 digs (19 vs. Clarion).
