     Vescovi, a three-time First-Team Academic All-District selection, was also a 2013-14 Third-Team Academic All-American.

     The 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America ® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.  Capital One has been the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA's Academic All-America teams programs since 2011.
     The Capital One Division II and III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2014-15 DII and DIII Academic All-America® teams program.

       Vescovi, a native of Patton, Pa. and a graduate of Cambria Heights High School, is averaging 12.5 points per game and leads the team in rebounding at 7.6 rebounds per game. He also leads the Mountain Cats in blocked shots (49), is second in field goal percentage (48.3%) and is third in assists (54).

     Nationally, Vescovi's 1.96 blocks per game rank 29
th, while his 49 blocks ranked 30
th.

     In addition, Vescovi currently ranks 24
th on the Mountain Cat All-Time Scoring List with 1,038 career points and fifth on the Pitt-Johnstown All-Time Rebounding List with 639 rebounds.
