(Full PSAC Release)Mahony, from Yorktown, VA, hit .418 at last weekend's University of Findlay (OH) Classic for PSAC East favorite Pitt-Johnstown. She had 51 kills on 91 attacks, while recording just 13 errors. Mahoney also had 15 blocks over the four matches.
In addition, Mahony hit .571 (9 kills, 14 attacks, 1 error) in a matchup with Findlay on Friday and had a career-high 19 kills against Hillsdale on Saturday.
Jen Gruber earned PSAC West Player of the Week honors after leading Edinboro to three wins in three matches in the VSU Tournament.  Edinboro opened with a four-game win over Charleston(WV). Gruber had 16 kills and a .424 hitting percentage. Next came a three-game win over West Virginia State as Gruber had 7 kills and a .368 hitting percentage. She added 8 digs and 5 total blocks. Finally, in a three-game win over Glenville State she had 8 kills and a .462 hitting percentage. For the three matches she had 31 kills and a .415 hitting percentage. She had 10 digs and 7 total blocks.Â
