For the second time this month, Pitt-Johnstown sophomore middle hitter Kendall Mahony was named the PSAC Volleyball Eastern Division Player of the Week after averaging over 13 kills and nearly six blocks per match to lead the Lady Cats to a perfect 4-0 record at last weekend's PSAC Crossover in Erie... Mahony, from Yorktown, VA, had double digit kills in all four matches, finishing with 53 total kills and a .386 hitting percentage, including15 kills and nine blocks against Mercyhurst on Saturday.  Mahony also had 12 kills, four aces and four blocks against Gannon, 13 kills and four blocks against Slippery Rock, and 13 kills, one ace and five blocks to end the weekend against Edinboro.

In addition to the kills, Mahony collected 22 blocks and six service aces over the four matches.

Clarion's Gabrielle was named the PSAC Western Division Player of the Week.  Olson had a very strong weekend for the Golden Eagles, leading Clarion to a 4-0 record - which now includes a 7 match win streak. Olson had 47 kills in the 4 matches (all 3-0 sweeps) and had 16 blocks (including solos and assists). Her hitting percentage was a remarkable .770. She 47 kills in 61 total attempts with no errors. Clarion defeated Cheyney, West chester, Kutztown and East Stroudsburg.
