(Full PSAC Release)Leahey, who also earned conference player of the week honors on November 16, recorded 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including three 3-pointers in a 71-65 victory at California (PA) on Wednesday.
On Saturday, Leahey poured in a career-high 32 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in Pitt-Johnstown's 80-79 overtime loss to Gannon in the Sports Center. Leahey, who connected on 11-13 from the free-throw line against the Golden Knights, also dished out three assists, blocked two shots, and made a steal.
Leahey shares this week's honor with Taylor, who posted his 10th double-double of the season with a 27-point, 10-rebound performance in the Griffins' win over Slippery Rock on Saturday. He was 8-13 from the field and 11-14 from the line. Taylor scored the Griffins' last 8 points and hit the game-winning free-throws with four seconds to play in the game. He also added four assists, three steals and two blocks.
