Pitt-Johnstown senior outside hitter Marissa Erminio was named the PSAC Central Division Volleyball Player of the Week on Tuesday after leading the Mountain Cats with 39 kills in three consecutive PSAC victories last week.

Erminio, a native of Hopwood, Pa. and a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School, collected a match-high 14 kills and 10 digs in a three-set sweep at Lock Haven on Tuesday.  She hit .444 and had one block and a pair of service aces.

In Friday's four-set win at East Stroudsburg, Erminio added 15 more kills, a career-high 30 digs, one block and one service ace.

She closed out the week with a match-high 10 kills and nine digs in Saturday's sweep at Kutztown.

In three matches, Erminio averaged 13 kills 16.3 digs.
