Devan Orr was named the PSAC Central Volleyball Player of the Week by the conference office on Tuesday after breaking the PSAC career digs record last week.
Orr, who entered Friday's home match against California University (PA) 28 digs shy of breaking Rhianon Brady's (Clarion) PSAC career record of 2,682 set in 20-11, broke it late in the final set. She finished the match with 31 digs and six assists in Pitt-Johnstown's 3-sets-to-1 win.
On Saturday, Orr added 31 more digs in a five set victory over Seton Hill in the Sports Center to give her 2,717 for her car. Orr also collected nine assists and a service ace against the Griffins.
