Head Coach Bob Rukavina and the Pitt-Johnstown men's basketball team will host its final game of the first semester on Tuesday when Carlow University visits the Sports Center for a non-conference match-up. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

The Mountain Cats slipped to 2-3 to begin the year following Sunday's 71-69 non-conference loss to The University of the Sciences in the Sports Center. Pitt-Johnstown raced out to a 15-point first half lead, but the Devils clawed back and connected on a pair of free-throws with seven seconds remaining to secure the two-point win.Â
Isaac Vescovi scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and
Josh Wise added 21 points to lead the Mountain Cats.

rd on the Pitt-Johnstown All-Time Scoring List (1,070 points), sixth on the assists list (422), and ninth on the 3-point field goals list.Â
Vescovi needs 59 points to become Pitt-Johnstown's 29

Head Coach Tim Keefer's (17
th season) Carlow Celtics fell to 0-4 on the season after a 114-61 loss at Walsh (OH) on Saturday and a 94-61 loss at Ashland (OH) on Sunday.Â
Charlie Scharbo scored 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds, and
Miles Sunder chipped-in 11 points to pace the Celtics against Ashland.

Pitt-Johnstown and Carlow have met on three other occasions and the Mountain Cats have won them all, including a 99-68 win in the Sports Center last year on November 16.Â
A.J. Leahey's 22 points led a balanced attack that saw five Pitt-Johnstown players score in double figures. Carlow was led by
Zack Taylor's 17 points,
Scharbo's 13 points, and
Jacob St. George's 10 points.

The Mountain Cats will play their next of four games on the road beginning with PSAC games at Cheyney on Saturday and Millersville on Sunday. Pitt-Johnstown returns to the Sports Center on January 3 to host a conference doubleheader with the women's team against Indiana (PA) at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
