Pitt-Johnstown senior outside hitter
Cambria Wierman was named the PSAC Central Division Women's Volleyball Player of the Week vy the conference office on Tuesday after leading the Mountain Cats with double-figure kills in a pair of matches last week.
Wierman, who joins
Marissa Erminio and
Devan Orr as Pitt-Johnstown players who have earned conference player of the week honors this season, had a team-high 12 kills and hit .385 in Pitt-Johnstown's sweep at Atlantic Region No. 4 Clarion University on Friday. Wierman also had 12 digs and a pair of assists against the Golden Eagles.
On Saturday, Wierman added 10 more kills, 12 digs, and a block assist in a three-set loss at Indiana University (PA).
Joining Wierman as this week's PSAC Volleyball Athletes of the Week are Edinboro's Cierah Jackson (Northwest Division), Seton Hill's Maggie Murphy (Southwest Division), and Kutztown's Holly Owen (Southeast Division).
