Pitt-Johnstown sophomore center fielder Morgan Cannin was named the PSAC-Central Softball Player of the Week after hitting .539 and leading the team to a doubleheader split with Edinboro on Saturday and a doubleheader sweep over Shippensburg on Sunday.  Cannin is Pitt-Johnstown's first PSAC Softball Athlete of the Week since Pitt-Johnstown made softball a varsity sport in 2015... Cannin went 7-for-13 (.539) for the week with a pair of RBI and three runs scored.  She also stole one base.

In Saturday's home split with Edinboro, Cannin was 3-for-8 with an RBI, a run scored, and stolen base.  She followed that up by going 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs in Sunday's 2-1 and 5-4 sweep over Shippensburg at V.E. Erickson Complex.
