Watkins' (3 Shots, 2 SOG, 1 Goal) goal in the 58th minute in Thursday's season-opener at Indiana (PA) gave Pitt-Johnstown a 1-0 lead, before the Mountain Cats secured their first ever conference victory with an own goal in the first minute of overtime.
In Saturday's home-opener against Mansfield, Watkins (9 Shots, 3 SOG, 1 Goal) found the back of the net in the 42nd minute to knot the score at one. Neither team was able to score the rest of the way, and Pitt-Johnstown was able to earn its second straight PSAC result.
