
Pitt-Johnstown senior forward
Isaac Vescovi was named the PSAC Western Division Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 25.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in a pair of conference victories last week.
Vescovi scored 31 points, including 22 in the second half and overtime, and pulled down six rebounds to lead Pitt-Johnstown to an 88-85 win over Slippery Rock, Wednesday night in the sports Center. Vescovi shot 14-23 from the field and 1-5 from 3-point range. He also dished out two assists and made a pair of steals.
On Saturday, Vescovi added 20 more points on 8-13 shooting and 4-4 from the free-throw line and grabbed four rebounds in an 86-83 win at Seton Hill.
