Dan Clark earned a spot on the first-team, while junior second baseman
Dylan Kerstetter was a second-team selection when this year's 2018 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All-Atlantic Region Teams were released on Wednesday.
Clark, who transferred to Pitt-Johnstown from Indiana University (PA) prior to the 2017 season, led the Mountain Cats in hitting at .375 on his way to being named Second-Team All-PSAC West. In 36 games-played, Clark hit eight homeruns, and finished second on the team in RBI with 32. He also had seven doubles and three triples and was a perfect 6-of-6 in stolen bases.

Kerstetter, also a Second-Team All-PSAC West choice a year ago, hit .328 with one homerun, six doubles, a triple, and 20 RBI in 45 games. Kerstetter's 20 base on balls was second on the team. He also stole six bases in six attempts.
Pitt-Johnstown is scheduled to open the 2018 season in Mooresville, NC with four games against Fairmont State University on February 17-18. The Mountain Cats will play their first homes games at Point Stadium on March 16 against Shippensburg University.
