th-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestling team will host PSAC Rival Millersville University, Friday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.
The Mountain Cats are ranked 11
th in NCAA Division II and third in Super Region I at 9-3 overall and 4-0 in the PSAC. Pitt-Johnstown is coming off of an impressive 38-3 conference victory over Gannon last Friday night in the Sports Center. Fourth-ranked
Chris Eddins (141 lbs.) and
D.J. Sims (285 lbs.) each earned victories over returning All-Americans, while
Steve Edwards defeated 2017 National Qualifier Jake Stratton at 174 lbs.

Millersville, ranked 12
th in Super Region I at 7-4 overall and 1-4 in the PSAC under first-year
Head Coach Kerry Regner, is coming off of a perfect 4-0 showing at last weekend's Kutztown Duals. On Saturday, the Marauders defeated East Stroudsburg, 19-18, and UNC-Pembroke, 23-13, before downing LIU-Post, 33-14, and Minot State (ND), 31-10, on Sunday.

Last year, Pitt-Johnstown visited Millersville on February 3 and got a decision from
Nico Pecora at 197 lbs. and a technical fall from
Sims at 285 lbs. to erase a late five-point deficit in a 21-18 victory over the Marauders.

Pitt-Johnstown visits Shippensburg on Tuesday, before closing out the regular season against Mercyhurst for Senior Night next Friday at 7 p.m. The Mountain Cats will also host the 2017-18 Super Region I Tournament on February 23 -24.
