Pitt-Johnstown junior outfielder Morgan Cannin was named the PSAC Central Division Softball Player of the Week, while freshman right-hander Ashley Pagliei earned Central Division Pitcher of the Week honors when this week's accolades were released by the conference office on Monday.

Cannin, a two-time All-PSAC Central Division selection, went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored in a 6-5 loss to Urbana (OH) University in Sunday's season-opener in Clermont, Fla.  Morgan then added two more hits in a 2-0 setback to Georgian Court (NJ) University later in the day.

Pagliei got her first collegiate start against Georgian Court and pitched a complete-game in the circle.  Pagliei held the Lions two runs (1 earned) on five hits.  She also struck out three and walked one.
