Mike Drahos, along with his twin brother, Matt, will be two of five members of the Class of 2018 who will inducted into the Bethany (WV) College Athletics Hall of Fame on September 28.

Following the Hall of Fame Dinner on September 28, the Class of 2018 will be recognized at Bethany's home football game against Washington and Jefferson College on September 29.

Joining Mike and Matt Drahos (Men's Basketball, Class of 2006) in this year's hall of fame class, are Kelley Richardson-Mills (Women's Basketball, Class of 2004) Steve Opfermann, (Baseball, Class of 2000), and Cornel Crawford, (Football, Class of 1984).

The Drahos brothers were two of the most instrumental leaders in the history of the Bethany men's basketball program. They were part of two Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships in 2005 and 2006, including consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, and graduated as the winningest-class in school history with 76 victories from 2002-06. The Drahos twins were also featured in the February 27, 2006 issue of
Sports Illustrated in its "Faces in the Crowd" feature.

Drahos, a native of Wheeling, W.Va., currently ranks fourth all-time in school-history with 1,681 career points, third all-time with 877 rebounds and sixth all-time with 135 assists. He was named the PAC Player of the Year in both 2004 and 2005 and was a three-time All-PAC First-Team selection. As a senior in 2006, he was tabbed Second-Team Academic All-America and garnered D3Hoops.com All-Region laurels after helping the team to its second-consecutive PAC Championship. In addition, Drahos was selected to six all-region teams and was a two-time All-American over the course of his four-year career.

Drahos graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2006. He also holds a master's degree in Legal Studies from West Virginia University.

After graduating in 2006, Drahos served as an assistant coach for the Bethany men's basketball team from 2006-08, before spending five seasons as an assistant coach for the West Liberty University women's basketball program from 2008-13.
Drahos began his coaching career at his Alma Mater, as Head Coach Aaron Huffman's top assistant for the men's basketball program. During Drahos's two years as a Bison assistant, the Bethany men won 36 games, advanced to the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament for the fourth straight year and earned the program's third Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) title in four seasons.

Drahos then joined Head Coach Lynn Ullom's Lady Hilltopper staff as the head assistant coach prior to the 2008-09 campaign. Drahos helped guide the Hilltoppers to a 107-47 overall record and two NCAA national tournament berths. He was also an integral part of coaching and recruiting 8 all-conference honorees, 2 conference Player of the Year award winners, a conference Freshman of the Year, an NCAA Woman of the year runner up, a Region Player of the Year winner, and a First-Team All-American.  Â

Since 2013, Drahos has been the head coach of Pitt-Johnstown's women's basketball team.
