Biography
Nick Roberts transferred to Pitt-Johnstown prior to the 2015-16 season after wrestling at Ohio State University.
Freshman Season (2012-13)
Roberts took a red-shirt at Ohio State. He had a 22-5 overall record in open tournaments, including a pair of runner-up finishes.
Red-Shirt Freshman Season (2013-14)
Roberts joined Ohio State’s starting line-up at 125 lbs. and earned a spot at the Division I National Tournament. He placed sixth at the Big 10 Tournament. Roberts tied for third on the team with 28 victories.
Junior Season (2015-16)
Roberts transferred to Pitt-Johnstown prior to the 2015-16 season after wrestling at Ohio State University. After sitting out the first semester, Roberts burst onto the NCAA Division II scene by winning the Super Region I Championship and winning a National Championship at 133 lbs. He was 19-1 overall and 11-1 in dual meets. Of his 19 wins, eight came by way of major decision and three by fall.
