East Stroudsburg University scored two second half goals en route to a 3-1 PSAC victory over the Mountain Cats, Saturday evening in East Stroudsburg, Pa. With the loss Pitt-Johnstown fell to 2-12-0 overall and 0-8-0 in the PSAC.
Brent Velasquez opened the scoring for the Mountain Cats with his goal in the 32nd minute of the match, before Jonathan Stuppe tied it with his score in the 39th minute.
Derek Lopez and Andrew McGinley added additional goals for the Warriors in the 52nd and 56th minutes to set the final at 3-1.
Tim Ofman took the loss for Pitt-Johnstown after making eight saves and allowing three goals. Callum Hampson earned the victory for East Stroudsburg collecting two saves and surrendering one goals.
With the win East Stroudsburg improved to 2-9-2 overall and 1-6-0 in the PSAC.
The Mountain Cats will travel to Shippensburg University on Friday for a PSAC match, before traveling Millersville University on Saturday for another conference-match.
