Slippery Rock University scored four first half goals and went on to deal the Mountain Cat soccer team a 4-0 PSAC loss, Wednesday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. With the loss Pitt-Johnstown fell to 2-7-0 overall and 0-4-0 in the PSAC.
Zach Hall gave Slippery Rock a 1-0 lead four minutes into the match, before The Rock added additional goals in the 16
th, 26
th, and 36
th minute to build a 4-0 halftime lead.
Slippery Rock never looked back and cruised to a 4-0 win.
Chris Zier earned the shutout in net for Slippery Rock after making one save on five shots.

With the win Slippery Rock improved to 6-1-1 overall and 1-1-0 in the conference.
The Mountain Cats will host a non-conference match against Washington-Adventist (MD) University on Sunday at 2pm, before hosting a PSAC match against Mercyhurst University on Tuesday.
