Mountain Cats suffer 6-0 Road Loss at Shippensburg

Shippensburg University scored three goals in the first 15 minutes of the match and went on to hand the Mountain Cats a 6-0 PSAC road loss on Friday. With the loss, Pitt-Johnstown fell to 2-13-0 overall and 0-9-0 in conference-play.

Derrick Roy scored his first goal just six minutes into the match on an assist from Patrick Urmsman, before netting two more goals in the 15th and 50th minutes of the match.

Derrick Adams, Chris Back, and Logan Kuhn each added  goals in the 12th, 47th, and 57th minute to set the final at 6-0.

Tim Ofman took the loss in net for the Mountain Cats, allowing six goals and combined with Nolan Levine to make four saves. Kevin Hollasch earned the shutout victory for Shippensburg, collecting three saves.

With the win, Shippensburg improved to 8-5-1 overall and 5-3-0 in the PSAC.

The Mountain Cats travel to Millersville University for a PSAC match on Saturday, before visiting Ohio Valley (WV) University for a non-conference match on Wednesday.
