Marissa Erminio finished with a game-high 19 kills and 17 digs to lead Pitt-Johnstown to a 3-1 PSAC victory over Millersville University, Friday evening in the Sports Center. The Lady Cats improved to 23-9 overall and 15-6 in the conference.
After losing set one, 25-23, Pitt-Johnstown stormed back to win the next three sets, 25-14, 25-20, and 25-15, to secure the victory.
Ashley DiRado had 12 kills, while
Kelsey Shanabrook tallied 16 digs.
Beth Kendera chipped in 11 kills, and
Katie Svetahor added 11 digs.
Allison Mondorff also had a match-high 49 assists and nine digs.
Lady Cats will host Shippensburg University for Senior Day on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Sports Center, before hosting a PSAC Tournament Quarterfinal match against an opponent to be determined on Tuesday at 7 p.m. As required by the PSAC, admission to Tuesday's match is $7.00 for adults, $2.00 for non-PSAC school students, and free to any student with a PSAC school I.D.
