Mountain Cat Soccer Suffers 2-1 Loss at Davis & Elkins

Head Coach Eric Kinsey's Mountain Cat soccer team surrendered a pair of penalty kick goals and suffered a 2-1 loss Saturday afternoon at Davis & Elkins (WV) College, the WVIAC's top-ranked team. The loss, which snapped a five-match unbeaten streak for Pitt Johnstown, dropped the team to 8-4-2 overall and 3-2-2 in WVIAC action.
Mountain Cat goalkeeper Craig Neff (Elizabethtown, Pa.) faced 15 shots and made five saves, but gave up the two penalty kick goals to suffer the loss and fall to 7-3-2.

The Senators raised their overall record to 13-3-0 and WVIAC record to 6-1-0.
The Mountain Cats finish a stretch of three straight WVIAC road matches at Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University on Wednesday, before returning home to host Ohio Valley (WV) University on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
