Patrick Grubbs Tabbed WVIAC Player of the Week

Pitt-Johnstown sophomore center Patrick Grubbs (Turtle Creek, Pa.) was named the WVIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 23 points, 9.5 rebounds and four assists per game in a pair of Mountain Cat victories last week.
Grubbs scored 29 points, pulled down 12 rebounds and dished out six assists in Tuesday's home win over Fairmont State, before adding 17 points and seven rebounds in Saturday's lopsided victory at Shepherd.
On the week, Grubbs, a graduate of Serra Catholic High School, shot 20-24 (.833) from the field and 6-8 from the free-throw line.
