Gilliam Tabbed WVIAC Player of the Week for Second Time

Mountain Cat senior forward Chris Gilliam (Baltimore, MD) averaged 20 points, eight rebounds, in Pitt Johnstown's victories over conference rivals Concord (WV) University and Bluefield State (WV) College to earn WVIAC Men's Basketball Player of The Week honors for the second time this season. Gilliam was also named the conference Co-Player of the Week on January 7.
Gilliam scored 14 points on 6-7 shooting from the field and 2-2 from the free-throw line for 14 points against Bluefield State on Thursday. He also grabbed eight rebounds. On Saturday, Gilliam poured in 26 points on 11-13 shooting from the field and 4-5 from the free-throw, and pulled down eight more rebounds.
