No. 12 Wrestlers Post 4-0-1 Record at Super Region I Duals

The Mountain Cats started Saturday's action by winning the first six matches to build a 22-0 lead in a 34-6 victory over Limestone (S.C.) College. Pitt-Johnstown won nine of the 10 bouts, including #3-ranked Ryan Link's (Cresson, Pa.) 8-3 decision over No. 8 Michael Magaha at 133 lbs., and A.J. Brentzel's (Irwin, Pa.) 4-3 victory over No. 8 Casey Bradley at 184 lbs. Heavyweight Chris Dempsey (Sewickley, Pa.) secured six team points with an injury default win at 2:46 over Charles Weber, while Dave Fogle (125 lbs.) (Summerhill, Pa.), David Cawley (141 lbs.) (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Joe Harper (157 lbs.) (Duncannon, Pa.), and Myers Miller (Bolivar, Pa.) all won by major decision. Pitt-Johnstown also got decision victories from Nathan Link (149 lbs.) (Cresson, Pa.) and Petros Georgilas (197 lbs.) (McKees Rocks, Pa.). Limestone got a fall from Bryce sopko over Logan Shirey (Fairmont City, Pa.) at 174 lbs. to account for its only points. Limestone dropped to 3-8 on the year.
