Volleyball Ends Point Park Tournament With Split

In Friday's opener, Slippery Rock swept the Lady Cats 25-12, 25-23, 25-13. Hrescak had seven kills and 12 digs, while Karen Schmidt (Boswell, Pa.) added three kills. King had 10 set assists, and Petrilla chipped in eight assists and six digs. Kohler led Pitt-Johnstown with 15 digs. Slippery Rock earned its first victory of the season and improved to 1-5.
