Volleyball Sweeps Ohio Valley For Third Straight Win

Taylor Hrescak (Johnstown, Pa.) had 13 kills and a block solo to lead the Lady Cat volleyball team to a 25-18, 25-20, 25-13 victory at Ohio Valley (WV) University, Friday night. Pitt-Johnstown made it three straight wins and improved to 8-8 overall and 5-4 in the WVIAC.
Jessica Heidenthal (Clymer, Pa.) added seven kills and a block assist, while Kayla Brandle (Johnstown, Pa.) had six kills and two block assists. Beth Kendera (Johnstown, Pa.) chipped in five kills, three block solos and a pair of block assists.
Kayla Petrilla (Johnstown, Pa.) collected 23 set assists, and Taylor King (York, Pa.) had eight assists. Kelsey Kohler (Johnstown, Pa.) led the way for Pitt-Johnstown with 17 digs.
Allison Graves had nine kills for Ohio Valley, which fell to 3-19 overall and 1-7 in the WVIAC.
The Lady Cats continue a stretch of five consecutive road matches at Mount Aloysius College on Wednesday and at West Virginia State University and the University of Charleston (WV) for WVIAC matches on Friday and Saturday.
