#8 Wrestlers Post 3-1 Record East Coast Duals

Valko (141 lbs.) scored a technical fall and Majocha upset #7 Trey Moss at heavyweight to lead the #8 Mountain Cat wrestlers to a, 28-6, win over #18 Limestone (S.C.) College in Friday evening's First Round. After falling behind, 3-0, #1-ranked Reasy (133 lbs.) earned a, 12-3, major decision over Brent Clausing to give Pitt Johnstown a 4-3 lead and spark a streak that saw the Mountain Cats win six straight matches. Valko followed with a 22-5 technical fall over Riley Pike at 4:30. Whetstone (149 lbs.), Kholi (157 lbs.) and Keane (165 lbs.) all won by decision, and Miles (174 lbs.) won a 12-4 major decision over Joby Shreckhise to increase Pitt Johnstown's lead to 23-3. Limestone, 11-2 on the year, cut the lead to 22-6 when #5 Dan Scanlan upset Corcetti, 9-5 in the 184-lb. bout. However, Majocha ended the match and set the final score at 28-6 with his 6-2 decision over #7 Moss at heavyweight.
