The Lady Cat volleyball team suffered losses to West Virginia Wesleyan College and Fairmont State (WV) University at Sautrday's tri-match at Saint Vincent College. After falling three-games-to-none to West Virginia Wesleyan, Fairmont State defeated Pitt Johnstown three-games-to-one. The Lady Cats are now 4-6 on the year.
Pitt Johnstown opened the day with a 17-30, 17-30, 21-30 loss to West Virginia Wesleyan. Junior outside hitter Abbey Hrescak (Johnstown, Pa.) led Pitt Johsntown with eight kills, while junior setter Sarah Davison (Grove City, Pa.) had 18 assists and junior defensive specialist Ashley Brant (Johnstown, Pa.) added 13 digs.
Pitt Johnstown travels to Pitt Greensburg on Tuesday. The Lady Cats will play their next home match against Saint Vincent College on Tuesday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sports Center.
