Dalton Garners Third WVIAC Player of Week Honor

Lady Cat senior forward Andrea Dalton (Washington, Pa.) was named the WVIAC Women's Basketball Player of the week for the third time this season after averaging 18.3 points and 12 rebounds in three Pitt-Johnstown victories... (Full WVIAC Release)
Dalton got things going with a 17-point, 15-rebound performance against Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University on Monday. She also had an assist, a block and a steal in 30 minutes of action.
Then in Thursday's victory at Atlantic No. 1-ranked West Liberty (WV) University, Dalton poured in 28 points and pulled down 14 rebounds. Trailing by 14 with 4:54 to play (70-56), Dalton sparked the improbable comeback with 13 points in the final 4:28, including the game-winning basket. Pitt-Johnstown dealt West Liberty its first home loss of the season (8-1).
Dalton ended the week with a solid 20-point, seven-rebound performance in Saturday's win over Alderson-Broaddus (WV) College.
Dalton earned WVIAC Player of the week honors Jan. 3, Jan. 17 and Feb. 14 , while teammate Sheena Aden (Sandy Lake, Pa.) claimed the honor on Nov. 15.
