Dalton Named WVIAC Basketball Co-Player of Week

Lady Cat senior forward Andrea Dalton (Washington, Pa.) was named the WVIAC Women's Basketball Co-Player of the week with Fairmont State (WV) University's Kaitlin Snyder after averaging a double-double in a pair of Pitt-Johnstown wins... (Full WVIAC Release)
Dalton, who earned the honor for the second time in three weeks, accounted for game-highs of 27 points and 12 rebounds in a 70-53 victory at Alderson-Broaddus last Monday. Dalton followed that performance with 21 points, a game-high 14 rebounds, and two assists in Saturday' 12-point win at Ohio Valley (WV) University.
Snyder, a 5-7 sophomore guard from Charleston, W. Va., earned her first WVIAC Player of the Week accolade. She helped Fairmont State to a 2-1 record, including a win over #25 West Liberty (WV) University. In the win at Wheeling Jesuit, Snyder totaled 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Snyder tossed in a game-high 26 points in the 76-60 victory over West Liberty, before posting a game-high 25 points eight rebounds and five assists against Glenville State (WV) College.
Dalton has been tabbed the WVIAC Player of the week twice this season, while teammate Sheena Aden (Sandy Lake, Pa.) claimed the honor on Nov. 15.
