Fratz Tabbed WVIAC Co-Player of the Week

Lady Cat sophomore guard Kailtynn Fratz (Accident, MD) has been named WVIAC women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week with Glenville State (WV) College's Kenyell Goodson after averaging 29 point per game in a pair of Pitt-Johnstown victories last week... (Full WVIAC Release)

In Monday's road win at West Virginia State University, Fratz tied her career high with a 34 points on on 8-16 shooting from the field and 16-20 from the free-throw line. Fratz also had four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
On Saturday against West Virginia Wesleyan College, Fratz drained 9-18 attempts from the field, including 3-6 from 3-point range en route to a 24-point performance. Then, with the score tied in the final minute, Fratz hit a 3-pointer and later hit a foul shot in the four-point win. Fratz also dished out a game-high four assists, had two rebounds, and a steal.

Like Fratz, Goodson also guided her team to a 2-0 week.
In just 23 minutes against Fairmont State (WV) University, Goodson netted 19 points, including 12 from behind the three-point stripe. She also grabbed three rebounds, had two steals and dished out an assist.
Against Bluefield State (WV) College, Goodson accounted for 21 points in just 22 minutes. She canned seven shots from the field, including five from downtown. Goodson registered four steals and two assists in the contest.
