Lady Cat senior forward Andrea Dalton (Washington, Pa.), the team's leading scorer and rebounder, was named First-Team Daktronics All-Atlantic Region when this year's teams were released on Wednesday. Dalton's name will now be placed the national ballot for voting for All-America honors.
Dalton, a First-Team All-WVIAC choice and a three-time WVIAC Player of the Week honoree in 2010-11, led the Lady Cats in scoring (19.4 ppg.), rebounding (8.9 rpg.) and three-point field goals-made (48). Nationally, she ranks 13th in scoring and 61st in rebounding.
Dalton, a 2010-11 Second-Team Academic All-District II selection, ended her Pitt-Johnstown career ranked 11th on the Lady Cat All-Time Scoring List (1,417 pts) and 15th on the All-Time Rebounding List (611).
Dalton, who was also a Second-Team All-WVIAC choice in 2009-10 and a member of the 2009 All-WVIAC Tournament Team, has also been nominated for Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Division II Bulletin All-America honors.
