After falling behind, 6-0, to Carson-Newman, Pitt Johnstown roared back to win seven of the last eight matches to take the 27-12 win. Junior Mazen Kholi (Allentown, Pa.) won by fall at 2:43 over Cody Humphrey at 157 lbs., while National Qualifier and #4-ranked Mike Fowler (Carrolltown, Pa.) won by technical fall, 16-1 at 4:51, over Tom Minwell at 197 lbs and senior Brian Cook (149 lbs.) (Pittsburgh, Pa.) won by major decision. Top-ranked Mike Corcetti (Export, Pa.) claimed a 7-3 overtime win over #4-ranked Nate Jones at 184 lbs. #4 Shane Valko (141 lbs.) (Windber, Pa.), All-American Albert Miles (165 lbs.) (Canonsburg, Pa.) and All-American and #2-ranked Eli Garshnick (174 lbs.) (Armagh, Pa.) also won by decision.
