The string of Division I opponents continued for
Head Coach Pat Pecora and his NCAA Division II #4-ranked Mountain Cat wrestlers when they traveled to the 2004 Clarion University Duals to wrap up the first semester on Sunday. As usual, Pitt Johnstown came to wrestle and finished the day with a 3-0 record over three more Division I teams. The Mountain Cats opened the day with a 28-12 win over Kent State (OH) University. Pitt Johnstown followed with a 24-12 victory over Clarion University, before finishing the day with a 30-6 win over Drexel University to raise their overall record to 9-2. In seven matches against Division I opponents this season, the Mountain Cats have recorded a 6-1 record.
