#7 Pitt-Johnstown Wrestlers Post 2-0 Record at 2005 East Coast Duals

Pitt-Johnstown was tested early against UNC-Pembroke. After trailing 6-3, the Mountain Cats rallied to outscore UNC-Pembroke 29-10 over the next eight matches. Along with Miles, who pinned Justin McIntire in :52, All-Americans Thad Benton (141 lbs.) (Claysburg, Pa./Claysburg-Kimmel H.S.), Ryan Ickes (149 lbs.) (Claysburg, Pa./Claysburg-Kimmel H.S.) and Howard Bell (197 lbs.) (Irwin, Pa./Penn Trafford H.S.) also won by fall. Junior National Qualifier Zach Majocha (HWT.) (Upper Burrell, Pa./Burrell H.S.) picked up a 19-4 technical fall over Eric Payne, while junior two-time National Qualifier Ryon Mazzocco (125 lbs.) (Cresson, Pa./Penn Cambria H.S.) won an 11-7 decision over Matt Schoffner.
