Monae Baker Tabbed WVIAC Co-Player of the Week

Pitt-Johnstown sophomore center Monae Baker (Bushkill, Pa.) was named WVIAC Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week with Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University's Kourtney Booth after pouring in a career-high 38 points in a Lady Cats win over West Liberty (WV) University.

Baker led Pitt-Johnstown to a 77-63 victory over West Liberty by tossing in a career-best 38 points on 16 of 22 shooting from the field. Baker also pulled down seven rebounds.

Booth paced Wheeling Jesuit to road victories at Shepherd (WV) University and Seton Hill University by contributing 26.5 points and 2.5 assists per contest. The sophomore sharpshooter connected on 12 of 22 three-pointers in the Wheeling Jesuit triumphs...Booth scored in 26 points in last Tuesday's 77-62 win at Shepherd, before adding 27 points in an 83-74 win over Seton Hill on Saturday.
