Luiz Ristow broke a 3-3 tie with a goal in the 88th minute of the match to lead Goldey-Beacom (DE) College to a 4-3 non-conference victory over the Mountain Cats,Thursday afternoon in Wilmington, DE.
Colin Michalski scored two goals for Pitt-Johnstown which fell to 2-5-0.
Goldey-Beacom held a slim 1-0 halftime lead before Michalski finished Matthew Kinney's cross to tie it in the 69
th minute.
Goldey-Beacom regained the lead 6 minutes later but back to back goals from
Colin Harrison and Michalski gave the Mountain Cats a 3-2 lead with just under eight minutes to play.
However, Goldey-Beacom answered with two straight goals including Ristow's goal in the 88
th minute that gave the Lighting a 4-3 win.
Tim Ofman took the loss in net for the Mountain Cats, collecting five saves and allowing four goals. Carlos Meinhard made seven saves and surrendered three goals for Goldey-Beacom, which improved to 1-6-0.
The Mountain Cats travel to Daemen (NY) College for a non-conference match on Sunday, before hosting a PSAC match against Slippery Rock University Wednesday at 4 p.m.
