Colm Spillane gave the Mountain Cats an early lead, but Gannon University answered with two goals in seven minutes to defeat Pitt-Johnstown 2-1 in a PSAC match, Saturday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. The Mountain Cats fell to 1-12-0 overall and 0-7-0 in the conference. Â
Spillane finished a cross in the box from Erik Etter in the 15th minute to put the Mountain Cats ahead, before Gannon got on the scoreboard to tie the match with an OWN goal in the 28thminute. The Golden Knights took and maintained the lead seven minutes later when Ted Martin finished a cross from Robbie Bennett. Â
Nate Kleya took the loss in net for the Mountain Cats after seeing 22 Gannon shots and making six saves. Manuel Mangu earned the victory for the Golden Knights after making three saves. Â
Gannon improved to 5-7-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the PSAC.Â

The Mountain Cats travel to West Chester University on Wednesday for a PSAC match, before hosting another conference match against East Stroudsburg University on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
