Chowan University used three first half goals from Terell Williamson to deal Pitt-Johnstown a 3-1 loss Friday evening in Murfreesboro, NC. The Mountain Cats fell to 0-2-0 overall.

Williamson opened the scoring with a header from Brandon Myers in the 15
th minute. Williamson then went on to score two more goals in a span of two minutes to make it 3-0 at the half.

Pitt-Johnstown answered with a goal from
A.J. McNary in the 60
th minute, but that wouldn't be enough to defeat the Hawks.

Nate Kleya saw 26 shots and made 10 saves, but took the loss in net for the Mountain Cats. Marco Lujan earned the win for Chowan after making four saves. Chowan improved to 3-1-0 in the season.

Pitt-Johnstown will travel to Washington Adventist (MD) University on Sunday for a non-conference match, before traveling to Lock Haven University to open PSAC conference play on Friday.Â
