Lock Haven University got an early goal from Tyler Sablyak, then held Mountain Cats off the scoreboard the final 83 minutes to hand Pitt-Johnstown a 2-0 road loss Friday evening in the PSAC-opener for both teams. The Mountain Cats dropped to 0-4-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the conference.

th minute to set the final at 2-0

Jonathan Howitt did the job in net for the Bald Eagles. Howitt saw six shots from Pitt-Johnstown and was forced to make just one save to secure the shutout. Kelya faced 15 Lock Haven shots, allowed both goals, and made five saves.

With the win, the Bade Eagles improved to 2-1-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the PSAC.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Bloomsburg for a PSAC Match on Saturday, before hosting non-conference matches against Goldey-Beacom (DE) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and Daemen (NY) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.Â
