California University (PA) scored a pair of first half goals two minutes apart to defeat Pitt-Johnstown 2-0 in a PSAC match, Tuesday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. The Mountain Cats fell to 1-7-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the PSAC.
Djordje Babic scored off of a free kick just outside the top of the box in the 25th minute, before Nathan Delgado added another goal for the Vulcans two minutes later to set the final at 2-0.
California goalkeeper Shane Donovan earned the shutout for the Vulcans after seeing eight Mountain Cat shots and making three saves.
Nate Kleya suffered the loss in net for Pitt-Johnstown. Kleya saw 17 shots, made three saves, but allowed both goals.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Slippery Rock University on Saturday for a PSAC match, before traveling to Alderson-Broaddus University for a non-confernce game on Wednesday.
