With less than 20 minutes left in play, Nick Stephenson and Hamza Mourchid each scored a goal breaking a scoreless game to give Gannon a 2-0 PSAC win over the Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team, Saturday in Erie. The Mountain Cats fell to 1-15 overall and 0-10 in conference-play.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net after looking to take the lead in the first half.

th minute, a corner kick from Jason Fox led Nick Stephenson to score the first goal of the game with a header past Pitt-Johnstown keeper
Nate Kleya to give the Golden Knights a 1-0 lead.
Gannon maintained momentum closing the game with a goal in the 84
th minute from Hamza Mourchid off of a pass from Tyler Martin, securing a 2-0 victory.
Kleya suffered the loss in goal for the Mountain Cats after seeing 18 shots and making five saves.
Jorge Hernandez recorded the shutout in goal for the Golden Knights after facing five shots from Pitt-Johnstown and making three saves. Gannon is now 6-9 overall and 4-6 in the PSAC.
The Mountain Cats return to host their final home nonconference match against Shepherd (WV) University on Monday. Pitt-Johnstown will close their season with a conference match on October 31 at Slippery Rock University.  Â
