Men's Soccer Falls at Slippery Rock in 2015 Season Finale

3017Matt Sangermano netted a hat trick for Slippery University and The Rock broke open a two-goal halftime lead with five second half goals en route to dealing the Mountain Cats a 7-0 PSAC road loss on Saturday.  Pitt-Johnstown's season came to an end with a 1-17-0 overall record and 0-11-0 mark in conference-play.
 
Goals by Sangermano in the 21st and 38th minutes gave Slippery Rock a 2-0 advantage at the half, before The Rock broke it open with five more goals in the second half, including Sangermano's third of the day in the 62nd minute.
 
Nate Kleya suffered the loss in goal for Pitt-Johnstown after facing 34 Slippery Rock shots and making 10 saves.  Kyle Hoffer earned the shutout in net for The rock.  Hoffer saw just eight Pitt-Johnstown shots and was forced to make three saves.
 
Slippery Rock improved to 11-6-0 overall and 7-4-0 in the PSAC.
